International Trade Commission, Department of Labor, Department of State, and the Executive Office of the President - Office of the U.S. Trade Representative

Government career concerned the impact of imports on domestic production and employment. This started with the investigation of industries injured by imports, moved to trade adjustment assistance, and included a stint as a trade negotiator at GATT negotiations in Geneva Switzerland. Government career finished up coordinating the Trade Adjustment Assistance Program and doing liaison with the labor movement from Executive Office of the President.
