who says print is dead?

While the print media has seen a decline over the past few years with the prevelance of personal computers and cell phones, it is nowhere near dead. There are many areas of the physical world that still hold a strong presence and require design work. At Weber Advertising, I design a variety of in-store signage, packaging and weekly advertisments that promote these items.

Even with the deminished print industry, the principles of design do not apply soley to print. The skills and techniques used in print translate into many of the new mediums of today. While they must be adapted to the particular interface, the core techniques such as color theory and proportional layout apply to any piece.
