2009-2010 Academic Year Begins

by kitchens August 24, 2009 20:37

Today, was the official opening of the 2009-2010 academic year at LVC. I am looking forward to this year. I will be teaching General Psychology II, Introduction to Experimental Psychology, and the Science of Emotion. These courses will have small to moderate adjustments from previous versions. I have updated some of the content, and added some extra class activites in these courses.

My research team this year will be primarily focusing on a Fear & Terror project that we are collaborating with Dr. Dolan, Dr. Johnson, and Dr. Hinshaw on. I have a lot of hope that these projects will begin to address some interesting questions.

On a personal note, the advisees I met with today seem to be very enthusiastic and promising students. I expect good things from them.

I wish the best of luck to all the LVC students.
