Personal Information: Mark Davidson hails from Boiceville, New York, a small Hamlet near Woodstock. Music has always been a part of his life, from the time he squeaked along with Bob McFerrin’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy” in his baby crib, to his current music ventures in school. He began singing in Elementary school and joined the Hudson Valley Youth Chorale, a local semi-professional youth choir, in fourth grade. He has preformed on trombone and voice in many programs throughout High School and College. Music has always been a part of his life, which is why he has made it his goal to teach music. |

Quick Philosophy: “ I believe that just as the voice is the barometer of human emotion and feeling, music is a barometer of culture and basic expression of what it is meant to be human It is our job as music educators to give students the means to explore and interpret music both in the classroom and on their own as something that is both written and unwritten.” -Mark Davidson |
