I am an Assistant Professor of English at Lebanon Valley
College where I teach courses in American literature, Southern fiction, Creative Writing, and Editing
and Publishing. In 2007, I received my Ph.D. in American literature from the University of Mississippi
and wrote a dissertation titled "Willa Cather and Performative Testimony: A Response to Sexual Trauma."
In 2003, I graduated from Bowling Green State University where I earned an MFA in Creative Writing
- Poetry. I have published two collections of poetry as well as numerous poems
and literary reviews in creative writing journals. I'm currently working on a critical biography
of Willa Cather.
